* Flower Fairy 8 x 10 Fine Art Print – Original “Fairy of Forgiveness” Fantasy Design.* The original “Fairy of Forgiviness” design was fashioned entirely from pressed flower blossoms and greenery grown in my own enchanted gardens. This magical artwork began with planting the seeds, taking care of the flowers as they grew and then picking and pressing the petals to lovingly create each fairy. I call this unique art form “Petal Painting” and am excited to offer many of my original pressed flower artwork in these beautiful affordable giclee prints. A variety of pressed purple cosmos, soap wort, and columbine fronds were used to create this faerie’s pretty purple dress. Snow-on-the-mountain and soap wort were fashioned to make her delicate fairy wings and the tiny flower garland in her hair was created from brown-eyed-Susan petals. Her skin and body were made from pressed cream columbine blossoms with rabbit brush and blue flax stems accenting the picture.It is fun to imagine that Fairies are everywhere and come in all shapes and sizes from the Tooth Fairy to Fairy God Mothers. Fairies can help us believe in magic and brighten up our day with a sprinkle of fairy dust.
