Hand Painted Rocks Bowl Full of Bug Rocks Interactive Art | Etsy This bowl full of colorful bug rocks is an interactive art piece. Set them out on the coffee table and everybody wants to pick one up! There are eight lil’ buggers in this piece. I collected the pebbles while beach combing along the shores of the Tennessee River. Each one is hand painted and sealed with polyurethane. I leave them unpainted and unsealed on the bottom so that you can see the rocks they were born from. The rocks range in size from about a 5/8″ to 1-5/8″. The bugs reside in a beautiful, vintage metal bowl that features an elaborate koi and iris motif. The bowl measures approx. 8-1/4 inches wide. These can be displayed in the bowl, in smaller groups or even individually and work in any room of the house. They are great for “children of all ages” and are meant to be lightly handled, but they are not toys. If you are using them in a child’s room, please use good judgement. They are definitely a choking hazard for small children and should be placed well out of reach.
