A great exploration of how girls are socialized to avoid confrontation at all costs (rather than develop healthy conflict resolution skills) and be emotional caretakers, without acknowledging their own needs. This book tackles these and other issues head on and provides a healthier alternative for raising our young women. This, I believe is the foundation for a truly egalitarian culture.
