This homemade clay recipe only takes two ingredients and 10 minutes!
2 Cups of Baking Soda
1 Cup of Corn Starch
1& 1/2 Cups of Cold Water
Method
Mix the ingredients together in a large pot
Cook over medium-high heat, stirring almost constantly. The mixture will begin to bubble. Then it will begin to clump together
It doesn’t take long at all for the clay to form. Keep stirring until you have a consistency similar to mashed potatoes
Transfer the clay to a bowl and cover it will a damp dish towel until cool
Once cool knead until it is smooth. If your clay is a little damp add a bit of corn starch and work it into the clay. Ours was not damp
You can add food coloring to your pot mixture before cooking the ingredients. You can also add food coloring after the clay is made and divide & color the clay different colors.
