James Stewart. Not many people know now, that he was a pretty serious WW2 hero, a much decorated aviator, and rose to the rank of Colonel. He was also a good man. My late uncle Charles Knox Robinson shared the screen with Mr. Stewart in movies such as “Shenandoah”, “A Bend In The River”, and even the fluffy but fun “Dear Brigitte”.
