Hi everyone! Angela here to share a birthday card with a fall theme. I had a lot of fun playing with Distress Oxide ink backgrounds the other day. One of them proved to be just right for this card. I have to admit to being particularly fond of fall colours and especially like a pop of purple, so of course Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s Asters were just what I needed to go with her Chrysanthemums. Some purple berries, and voila! Joset’s Dream stamps provided just the right sentiment. Here’s how it came together: Step 1 – Die cut the Berry Branch three times from 100lb White Soft Finish Cardstock. Colour with Copic markers and use the Nuvo Crystal Drops to create the berries. Set aside to let dry completely. Step 2 – Create the background by “smooshing” several colours of ink onto a craft sheet. Spritz with water and use watercolour paper to pick up the colour. Repeat till you’re satisfied. Step 3 – From the dried background, cut the largest oval from the Dotted Scallop Ovals die set. Use Clear Double Sided Adhesive to back a piece of 85lb White Soft Finish Cardstock and cut a frame using the two largest …
