5 Best Skinny Jeans for Athletic Girls | AmandasOK.com Sweater | Express Jean Leggings | Shoes | Lips, color is Patina | All Jewelry from BC Clark Hi loves and Happy October! Long time no blog, huh?! I’ve been seriously slacking on blog posts lately because #life. I was sick, I was on vacation, I was trying to get everything else done somewhere in between it all….sometimes the world wide web just has to go on the back burner and that’s OK. But this week, I’m back and I’ve got several posts coming your way! Today I want to share my top 5 skinny jeans! My entire life I’ve never ever found a pair of jeans that fit me perfectly. I’m very tall (5’10) and have muscular legs (quadzilla over here) and a big booty but a small waist. They just don’t make pants with athletic girls in mind! However, recently I’ve found several brands that I LOVE and that fit me flawlessly! For reference, you can see photos of me wearing all the jeans at the bottom of this post. Express – Mid Rise Stretch Ankle Leggings I’d tried a few styles Express jeans a couple of times and never liked them BUT, when I tried their jean leggings I fell in love! I size down and buy the long and they fit like magic. They’re fitted but stretchy, mid-rise and soooo comfy! Plus they come in all different colors and shades. You’ve seen them aaaall over my Instagram lately and they are the ones featured in today’s post. Abercrombie – High Rise Super Skinny Jeans It kind of blows my mind that Abercrombie is popular again but I’m OK with it! I ordered a pair of their super skinny jeans after Courtney from The Finishing Touch recommended them (we have a similar body type) and after getting them in the mail, I instantly went to buy them in other colors! I even got the white which is saying a lot because white jeans that look good are tough to find! They are SO STRETCHY so they move with your body really well instead of feeling stiff, tight and uncomfortable. They are just the right amount of hi-rise and suck you in/shape your booty so well. I can’t recommend them enough! Articles of Society – Sarah Skinny Jeans I’ve been wearing the Sarah style for over a year now – they are the jeans I wore all over Europe! I have the dark wash and they are my “work jeans” because they don’t have holes in them and look clean and classy. They are mid-low rise but not tooooo low. I size down one size! The waist is sliiiightly big so they can start to sag if you wear them for a long time, but just throw on a belt and you’re good. For how inexpensive they are, the quality is great. Like I said, I’ve had the same pair for over a year, wear them regularly, and they are still going strong. Free People – High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans I got this pair during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and wore them for the first time during New York Fashion Week! Soooooo many people complimented me on them. They are very fitted + hi-rise and work great with bodysuits (plus they really make your booty look good)! Size up, though….even though they have some stretch they run small. I have the light wash but there are several different shades available! Vigoss – Jagger Skinny Jeans I always go to Nordstrom Rack to try on jeans because we don’t have a Nordstrom in OKC…..I stumbled upon these on the clearance rack once for like $20 and have gotten SO MUCH WEAR out of them! They are totally worth buying at full price (it’s not that much)! They are stretchy but have just enough structure that they don’t loosen or sag and are just the right amount of mid-rise to where you don’t have mom butt but also don’t look like Britney Spears circa 2001. Ya feel me? I wear these all the time on vacation because they are comfy to walk around in all day! They have a little distress but not too much. A fav, for sure! There ya have it! Do you have any jeans you swear by? I’m not sure how I feel about flare leg jeans coming back haha but skinnies will always work best in tall/OTK boots so you know they aren’t going anywhere. Scroll on down to see photos of me wearing all the jeans I listed. Thanks for reading loves! Have the best week and stay tuned for my Guide to Oregon blog post coming soon.
