Please keep in mind that we are selling real wood pieces that could crack, shrink or bow in certain areas. We take precautions to avoid this but wood is living & will continue to change in different environments. We believe this adds to the “rustic” character. If any of these instances do occur we will not offer exchanges or refunds. By choosing to accept your order on the day of pickup or delivery confirms you are fully accepting your order in its “as is,” unique, rustic condition. Meaning you are fully satisfied to keep it forever. **BREADBOARD DISCLAIMER: In many of our pictures you will see perpendicular boards at the ends of our table tops, as opposed to full length boards running end to end. These are called “breadboards.†As we have gained experience over the years, we are now recommending full length boards end to end. Wood naturally expands and contracts with temperature and humidity change. Since the wood grain of a breadboard is going the opposite direction of the majority of the table, it will move differently, and is likely to not stay “flush†with the rest of the table, appearing as if it “grew†or “shrunk†while the rest of the table stayed the same. This is not something that we, nor any woodworker can control. With this type of cross grain movement, it is possible that areas around this area will need to be touched up with stain. We will make breadboard ends for you if you wish, however we will only do so with the full understanding that they can potentially create issues with their natural movements that we are not able to control, nor will be held responsible for after the time of sale.
